Claire Enders shared with us her journey in such a competitive sector and offered some candid thoughts and guidance on how she sees TMT developing globally as a result of the pandemic and what effect that might have on us.
After a successful strategy career in UK media, Claire founded Enders Analysis in 1997. Today, it is the leading TMT research company in the UK. Claire is the top independent analyst of the creative industries, the broadcast economy and digital exploitation models.

Lindsey Pattison Event 9th December
WPP is best known as a creative transformation company, with 107000 people in 112 countries worldwide and £53.1bn billings. Lindsay’s long and distinguished career includes roles as GroupM’s first-ever Worldwide Chief Transformation Officer, Worldwide CEO at Maxus Global, and Managing Partner at PHD.
As Chief Client Officer, Lindsay is responsible for WPP’s top global client relationships and driving organic growth. She ensures that major clients have access to the combined strengths of WPP, that the best talent is working on their accounts, and that they work effectively with WPP companies and Country Managers to deliver fully integrated solutions for clients.
Lindsay is a passionate advocate for business leaders taking meaningful action to improve gender equality. She is an ex-President of WACL (Women in Advertising and Communications) and features in the FT HERoes Champions of Women in Business 2018 list. But she is most proud of launching ‘Walk the Talk’, an initiative to help senior women overcome the cultural and psychological barriers to achieving their potential. Since launch, many WPP agencies have adopted the scheme, with over 1600 women benefitting and a 30% promotion rate within 9 months of the program. Now as CCO of WPP, she focuses on ensuring that women are (at the very least least) shortlisted for all senior roles at WPP and personally mentoring women of all levels across the WPP network.

Valerie Michie: until recently CEO The Huntercombe Group (Private Equity backed business providing expert care for people with mental illness, learning disability and brain injury) and who has just been appointed CEO of Choice Care Group – a sector experiencing significant challenges during the pandemic. Valerie has spoken at EWLP several times.
Laura Thomas: MD of small business providing products for chemical-free living and wellbeing. Laura provided the wonderful speaker gifts for EWLP 2019.

Barbara Brown is a career Banker and Invoice Financier bringing 30+ years of experience from the Financial Services sector. In a variety of Regional Managing Director roles, she led diverse teams across the country for The Royal Bank of Scotland, RBS Invoice Finance and Ulster Bank Invoice Finance.
